Friends of Suzanne received $2500 from Hawk Pointe Foundation on Feb 28, 2009. We are deeply moved by this, and
appreciative of what this can do for our patient support.
The Hawk Pointe Foundation was founded by the Principals
of Hawk Pointe Golf Club; Patrick Welsh, Richard Cotton, and Robert Ross. The Foundation was established
to help better respond to the many requests for contributions we receive from our members, employees and the communities
where we live and serve. The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds for community
causes within Hunterdon and Warren Counties. Through sports and social activities, ongoing events will be provided to encourage
individuals to experience the joy of giving back.

The TJL Foundation
A non-profit organization
founded by devoted family
and friends of
Tamara Jane Lizzi
Upon
graduation from college, Tamara, at the age of twenty-two, was first diagnosed with colon cancer.
Although
no one would have suspected such a tiny force was fighting this silent battle, she did so with dignity and unspoken strength.
Throughout her struggle with this disease Tamara became a devoted advocate for early detection. She was an inspiration to
those fortunate enough to know and love her. Tamara was an extraordinary young woman who embraced life with endless energy
while cherishing family and friends with unlimited affection.
More
than anything, Tamara wanted to bring attention to a disease that was thought to afflict those far removed from their twenties.
Members of The TJL Foundation have pledged to continue Tamara’s mission, a mission to educate and spread awareness.
Tamara’s
strength, optimism, accomplishments and respect for life continue to be a driving force for those who knew her. She etched
a memory in the hearts of everyone she met. Tamara always wanted to make the world a better place but at the end of her very
short journey, she wanted to make the lives of those suffering easier, more comfortable, and bearable.
In Her
Shoes, The TJL Foundation
has a
three-fold mission.
We advocate
for early detection, support those diagnosed with cancer as well as provide support to their families.
Funds
raised are disbursed to New Jersey Cancer Institute, Robert Wood Johnson Oncology Ward and additionally through implementing
educational programs throughout New Jersey to young adults, in an effort to provide information, guidance, and medical
assistance.

Tranquil Touch Day Spa
Flemington, NJ
Debra Feindt
When Debra read the article on the Pay Their Way program she reached out to the organization. Having been touched
by cancer in her own life, and having a dear friend, also named Suzanne who has been affected by the disease, she knew the
fit with our organization was right.
Donation of $ 969.58 to Friends of Suzanne to help fund the first Pay Their Way event in January,
2008.
We are blessed and honored to make yet another new friend, and appreciate the kindness, bestowed upon us.
Looking for the perfect gift for your loved one? Please consider one of the many treatments offered at
the Tranquil Touch Day Spa, and help cancer patients in doing so.
Thank to Tranquil Touch Day Spa - your generosity will benefit numerous patients suffering the life crisis affects of
a cancer diagnosis.
Hopewell, NJ
Ursula Kaplowitz
Ursula, a cancer patient herself was touched by the concept of Pay their Way. We first came to know her immediately
following the first event in July. It has now been just over 5 months and she wants to "pay it forward" by helping others,
with whom she shares a common bond.
Ursula is donating a portion of the proceeds from her recent show at the Hopewell Trainstation to Friends of Suzanne,
and they will be used for an upcoming Pay Their Way.
We thank Ursula, and look forward to continuing our support to her, as she continues her journey with cancer.
