Dec 2008
Pay their Way copay day was held on Dec 24 and we
are still awaiting the number of patients from the cancer center. We hope to be able to hold one more day before year
end; possibly on New Year's Eve. We also dropped off candy baskets and roses for the patients. We gave the
staff candle jars; for all of their help and assistance - without them we would not be able to execute our copay days.

Thank you on behalf of each patient assisted
"Much appreciation" was shown as each was advised
that today they were given the news !
How many times have you asked what you can do, when
you have learned that a friend, coworker or nieghbor has been diagnosed with cancer? Each of us says we want to
help, but we do not know what to do for them, we do not want to interfer or bother the patient or the family. With this
in mind and after learning that patients may be financially strapped we have received approval to hold "PAY THEIR WAY" copay
day at Hunterdon.
We are actively raising money to hold a Co-Pay day
at Hunterdon Regional Cancer. The event will consist of paying the co-pays for patients who are receiving treatment
(radiation or chemotherapy) at the facility.
Patients undergoing treatment are required to make
copays for their treatments, and for many this means on a "daily" basis. Payments can range anywhere from $5.00 to $100.00
per visit, and add stress and cause for concern to patients, who are already encountering changes in their lives.
