AAA Guaranteed On-Time Limo
Two patients, and their families will be escorted by representatives from
Friends of Suzanne into NYC on Sunday Dec 30th to visit Rockefeller Center and tour the city. Both patients were excited
and surprised when they were called and told their wish had been granted.
Our trip was a day of fun, bonding and excitement. Both patients
were picked up in our BIG limo at their homes. For some it was the first ever limo ride, and definitely a classy treat.
Our driver, Rich was very friendly, and knew the city so he was able to offer ideas and assistance.
We were dropped off at Rockefeller Center, took the Radio City tour, and
dined at Woody McHughes pub. A fun day was had by all and our thanks to AAA for the generous and wonderful donation.
Philadelphia Sports
Congress
for donating not only two tickets to the game, but two VIP tailgate tickets and a parking pass
to our patient. The game in Dec 2008 will be something that will help him continue to fight his battle and the gift
which was personally delivered to the patient, started his holiday season off grandly.

When one of the patients received her gift, it was said that she "squealed" like the
young gal she is. She was thrilled and shocked . . . she never imagined we would grant her wish.
Clinton House Restaurant
One patient requested a gift certificate so that he could go to dinner with his family
at the Clinton House. The owner of the Clinton House's daughter stopped by to have her gifts wrapped in Phillipsburg
Mall the night our organization was wrapping. The day she stopped by, the holiday list had just been received and we
were in the process of working to secure donations to be able to grant each wish. As luck would have it, and quite
by accident it was discussed that her parents owned a place in Clinton - - - small world, fate, being in the right place?
She advised that she would take care of it for us, and true to her word the certificate was waiting for us at the reception
area when we stopped by. Holiday wishes can come true.
Stockton Inn
One of the patients requested a gift certificate to the Stockton Inn. Owner, Fred
Strackhouse, emailed our organization and advised that he knew the patient and would be more than happy to assist.
We are still in the process of securing each of the items listed. Several
were purchased for patients and they have already received them. Some are still "owed" to the patient, but will
be delivered by Jan 15th. Each person on the list has been given a note from the organization and has been advised
the status of their request.
There are three challenges . . .but we will not be stopped - Hannah Montana
- Bon Jovi - Jersey Boys - these are still pending "donation" status from the venue - - if we can, we will purchase
the tickets for the patients. Update on these will come as we learn more. . . .
